Introducing The Glass Teapot

In this site I am going to introduce the glass teapot.  You may not come across such a teapot very often, but there is no doubt that a teapot made of  glass is both eyecatching from a design perspective, but also extremely interesting in that you can see the tea brewing in the pot almost before your very eyes. Before going further, there is a danger that if you do decide to buy a glass teapot you will almost certainly have to get rid of your store of tea bags.  I think you will understand what I mean.  Because you can see into the heart of the teapot that is made of glass, using tea bags will potentially defeat the objective, not to mention the fact that many of the models of glass teapot come with a sort of integrated tea strainer that keeps the leaves and not bags separate from the liquid they are infusing.  The glass teapot with infuser is therefore an added factor in making the glass teapot not just an interesting way to make tea, but potentially a design icon too.
